Why does the P go with the O?

I have a normal length of fingers and I use my 2 index fingers to punch the letters in the keyboard, both on desktop and on net book. I have problems though, when I post a comment in any of the discussions I read, in this site. I seem to always put the P before or after the O, and when I go back to that comment, I edit what I put and delete that extra letter P. So, the common words that I misspell because the P always follows the O are: outside (OPUTSIDE), our (OPUR), and many more. The edit tag is a great help too because we can change the misspelled words in our comments and even in our discussions. I could just imagine a reader smiling when he/she reads my comment with these misspelled words. It is understandable too. Do you know any other letter that mistakenly goes with one?

@ridingbet It's not a talent, you learn to type at the typing school, it takes a bit of time, but it's not difficult.

it is, and i also cannot understand one word that you put on your comment that i had to look at the keyboard, and found out what letter it should be. the AOME should be SOME, courtesy of your beautiful fingers. me? the usual O with the P dangling behind.

@Lucky15 right, but let us not be grammar Nazi, or is that how they call it? as long as our thoughts are put in words, then we must understand each other.

I don't seem to have such problem at all. I don't know why. When I was 8 years old, my grandfather trained me to use a typewriter with there might kind of fingers. He would cover all the keys with masking tape so i wouldn't see it and let me type the sentence: The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog near the bank of the river. It's a pangram that contains all the letters of the alphabet which allowed me to practice using all my fingers in typing correctly with each corresponding characters in qwerty keyboard. It's commonly use for touch typing practice.

@ridingbet We didn't have typing back in college too. i didn't have any typing class at all. It was my grandfather who was very strict about it he taught all of us how to do the right type touching. So in high school when we have to study computer and do that, I became an instructor instead of a student because I could type without looking at a very fast speed. It has become a habit until now. It's something that I would never forget because it was my grandfather who trained us.

yes, i know that the quick brown fox jumpe3d over the lazy dog thingy, because all the letters of the alphabet are there but we did not have subjects about typing during my college years. my son types so excellently that he won a competition in high school about typing a long article in 3 minutes. he types without looking at the keyboard. i envy him, really, and you too, because you can do that with eyes close or letters covered with tape

@skysnap my phone has small fonts in the keyboard/keypad too, that is why i prefer using the net book or the desktop, but still, mistakes are common.

I switch keyboards for one reason or another every so often and I noticed that with this one I am using right now I type and some of the keys don't always seem to register as if I am typing to fast or something which I know is not the case. Typos happen people need to loosen up one time I had a keyboard and the A key didn't work at all. So every time I typed a word with the letter A in it would leave it out or simply put a O in its place. It was a bummer because I really liked the keyboard and it was the last one they had on sale needless to say I replaced it.

right now, i am on net book and even though i type with my 2 index fingers and press the right letter, there are some keys that don't register in my comments. as always, the P goes with the O, like YOUR and what i accidentally type is YOPUR. always like that.

@ridingbet If it makes you feel any better I have a tendency to invert things when I write and it can be frustrating and at times even make me seem dumb I know how to spell the words and when I write them they come out backwards. It is always the same words too which is very frustrating but the people who know me don't even bother any more they know but new people comment on it.

yes my dear. it is nicer here because we have the EDIT and even though our discussions are months old, we can still edit them. unlike in bubblews, some or most of our posts are already archived and it was so hard to gain access to them

Oh yes, my dear friend! My O & P seem to want to replace each other more often; also my V & B; A & S, etc. And, deleting an unwanted letter annoys me at times (you know, when topak peeks in). Ha! Ha! Ha!

@ridingbet Sadly, no, my dear friend. I just use my right thumb, my left hand holds the cp. When I use my laptop, I type a "seek-&-you-shall-find" mode. I'm afraid my Typing teacher did not do her best to persuade me to use all fingers. But I passed Typing I, I tell you. Ha! Ha! Ha!

@KnehKnah oh, so you use your cp to lot? me, i am on net book of my son and as usual, my 2 index fingers do the job again, but with errors as always. i don't have subject on typing when i was in college; probably because my course must deal with people and not typewriters or offices? hahaha.

but you type using all your 8 fingers and 2 thumbs? i use just my 2 index fingers and i still commit mistakes. i tried commenting here just looking at the monitor and not down the keyboard and it took me an hour to post a short comment c/o @LadyDuck.

I'm also having difficulty in typing using my cellphone. It takes so much time because letters seem swapping and mistakenly typed so I'd rather use this desktop. It gives me more ease in typing and it is so much better to use.

@ridingbet .. I am using just two fingers on my right hand and one or two fingers on my left. I use these two fingers even for the numbers, space bar or in any other keys on the keyboard. I get used to it. Maybe because of the many times I'm using the keyboard.
