Are there any men who really listen?

I have a lot of friends on Facebook that I've accumulated over the years, mostly folks I met on this or that game that I play. Tonight one of those friends, I'll just call him Random Guy messaged me out of the blue. We really haven't had much contact, I met him when I stole his gold on my favorite game, but we have spoken from time to time on the game. I haven't heard from him in a couple of years actually, and our conversation started out innocently enough, you know, how you been, that kind of stuff. Then the tone changed. He asked me things like what I wanted in a man, you know the kinds of things you ask on a first or second date irl. I tried to be polite, explaining that my husband whom I adored had recently passed away and that I had no plans to be in any kind of romantic relationship. So he goes on telling me personal things about himself, and I again told him I wasn't interested in that kind of relationship. He then goes on to say that after all, since Earl is gone forever, and that he "had needs" we should get to know each other and "hook up" Then he asked for pics of the naughty kind :o By then, I was quite agitated and told him so. It's like i had said nothing, he continued to try to convince me we should be a couple since I was single now. Why do men compare the death of a woman's husband to a break up? Because that's what he did next. He told me it was time move on and get "busy". (Earl passed March 15th) So, I have gone to FB, removed him as a friend thinking that this would end our contact. Well I was wrong. His messages still come through on Messenger in that "other" category. So I've muted him in the app. It boggles my mind though, that a simple no was ignored and I had to go through such drama.

There are really some people like him who doesn't know the true meaning of any kind of relationship. But not all are the same. And this type of time you really need a person no matter friend or relative who really understand you.

Madam, he was not really a friend that way. You did right thing to block him, such people want to have fun by taking advantage. This time you need your family members kids and relatives, and true friends. Have your time with them.
