I purchased this product when I was at Costco a few days ago and remembered I had it in my freezer when looking for something to have as a dinner for one tonight (my wife is working).
I've had frozen meatballs in the past and have had mixed results with different brands. This one, however, was definitely one of the better ones I've purchased.
First of all, I love the size of these meatballs. They were small enough to give a decent quantity inside the bag while large enough to be filling. This, in itself, was somewhat refreshing because most other brands either offer size or quantity, not both.
As far as taste goes, I had no complaints. I ate these plain (no sauce on them) and they had a good blend of seasonings on them. Plus, I could really taste the beef in them. They weren't just fat, like so many other brands of frozen meatballs we've purchased.
The meatballs did end up being a little bit greasy when I cooked them in the microwave. But, it wasn't anything that I would consider overly extreme or out of the ordinary with this type of product. And, again, it was a small amount of grease. It wasn't as though it was soaking through my paper plate (which, again, has happened with other brands).
As a result, I can honestly say I'm happy with this purchase. I think I'll be using some of these tomorrow night too (I've been thinking about making spaghetti anyway) and do highly recommend them if you are looking for a brand of frozen meatballs.
