Meeting with the Dean.

So, at 2 o'clock this afternoon, I and my colleagues (part-time clinical instructors) went to school to get our envelops that contained the documents for our duty. I will handle level 2 nursing students at the obstetric ward, and level 4 in medical ward, both in morning shifts.
I was tasked to read loud the policies of the related learning experience and the desired outcomes that the students must achieve at the end of the first semester. I had to speak loud because there was no microphone; anyway, we were less than 15 who attended.
Lastly, when the meeting was about to adjourn, the Dean said in a loud voice that he is enthusiastic about how the students will face their experiences in their tours of duty.
Before we left the conference room, the clinical coordinator showed us the evaluation made by the students to us. When I asked mine, she said that I had the most number of comments, and also the highest rating. I read what was written and they were all good reviews and comments.
I asked my evaluation to be photo-copied, not to be proud of the high mark, but to serve as an incentive that I should try harder and better to improve my craft as a clinical preceptor.
It is a happy meeting with the Dean.

@ridingbet This is the way to go, because if you let go, the students will never be as good as you are.

@ridingbet Yes you are right . Students will not be forced to study with a lenient teacher .

@SIMPLYD that is why our leniency should be in its right place at the right time because the students will also absorb anything they see in us their teachers.
