Doubts and anxieties

All of us have doubts about ourselves or our undertakings at some point in our lives . We could doubt our potential and our resources, and even our strengths. Some of us are frequently nagged by self doubts.
Doubts lead to anxieties and worry. They cause us to lose faith in ourselves and in what we do. To give into worry and doubts like being a traitor to yourself.
Is there a way to stop doubting yourself?
Feed your faith. If you are a Bible believing person load yourself with the word of God that relates to your situation and feed your faith.
If you are not, feed yourself with self belief. Talk to yourself about your strengths. Convince yourself that you are capable.
The more you feed your faith the more you will starve your doubts to death.
Have you ever tried this? do you thin k it would work for you?

Doubt occurs if you do not have a firm belief on something.
Doubts are discouraging and causes us to make poor decisions.
If we have doubts, we cannot make good choices in life.
We cannot move on smoothly.
The best thing to fight doubt is to strengthen our faith.
Believe and have trust in Him.
If you are a strong believer, you can fight all your doubts.

Your post is very inspiring, I have some strengths and one of them is patience, I have endless of it.
The problem is that I forget about my strengths and I forget to tell myself that I'm capable of doing things right.
When I remember to tell myself my strengths, I get motivation and become more hard working.
I better starve my doubts and I better do it now. Thank you, brother :-)

@sofssu I don't really mind about the gender now, because we discuss about something neutral for that matter.
I'm a man, just for your information. Aww... I called you brother, lol.
So, thanks, sister.

Faith and prayers can move a mountain. I am a firm believer of God and I know that whatever we ask in His name, believe it and it will come.

It helps if one actually thinks about it clearly, spend a little time to think about it.

@stringer321 True it does but most of us hardly care to understand our thinking processes.

Anxiety is very common as I have found out recently.. My anxiety was work related.. Years of dealing with people's emotion pushed me to the corner ..But knowing the cause of anxiety is important to be able to manage it so it won't get any worse..

@epiffanie If you have a good handle on your emotions with a few techniques that can easily be adopted you can handle anxiety.. self doubt strikes at the base.. the very foundation of your beliefs.

I just give it to the Lord and say, "Lord, I can't figure this out, I leave it to you" and he never lets me down but of course he doesn't always give me the answer that I want lol

@Jessicalynnt It works for those who believe, those who let it work for them. In fact there is a scripture whcih says exactly that ..
Eph 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us

I think it works for me. I try to start my day off with thanking God for my blessings and then try to keep myself motivated by being positive (as best I can be)
