***Administrative Advisement*** Personal disputes in discussions
@GoAskAlice (5827)

I am starting to see some posts pop up that are hinting in a round about way at dealing in personal disputes between members. I just want to take this opportunity to remind everyone that personal disputes, complaints, differences, etc are not to be handled in the discussion area. I have stated in the past that I absolutely will not tolerate it from anyone, new member or veteran. Please be mindful of this and keep it friendly folks. Thank you!

agreed, I think I saw a few of those, and have done my best to skip em and move on, as I wasn't comfortable commenting on what appeared to be a clash

I do the same thing @Jessicalynnt. If I don't like things that are posted I will just move on. If I saw something really bad I would report.

@ramapo17 pretty much, most of the time the stuff I skip isnt rule breaking, just someone's overly preachy post, or just too religious for me, or sports. I just dont get sports most of the time, so have nothing to say

I agree, if there is something personal to discuss, we have the possibility to send a message. If we believe there is a bug, we can leave a message to the right person. Personal disputes are not discussions. I am sharing this post so that most people can read it.

This is a good reminder. We should be sensitive with what we post and make sure that we do not step on anyone. This site must encourage friendships and love.

@CoralLevang I just make it this way, when I post something I put myself in another's shoes. I am thinking if I were the one who will answer my post, will it be good to me or not, will I be offended or not. I have been making friends with a lot of people in different cultures and I have learned how to deal with them in a nice way.I know I cannot please all people but knowing that I care about my words before I post them will surely make me away from trouble. If someone gives hurting remarks, I just ignore it. I tend to become selective in participating in a discussion.

@CoralLevang They need to grow up then. I would rather spend my time with those people whom I think are open minded. I love making friends and not enemies. If we spend our time to those people who keep on looking for fights, we will be losing our energy and we might get also some of the negative energy they have been spreading. Posting negative discussions is like a contagious disease that we must avoid as early as possible.

I agree with you. If for any reason we don´t want to befriend someone, there is the posibility of blocking him/her. If we don´t want to read or comment a post, we don´t do it. If there is a rude answer, we report it. No need to write a special post about it. But we can tell a friend to ask another friend why she blocked her/him. Sometimes is it just a mistake.

Thought that issue would have been cleared up when you got the ability to block and ignore. Haven't run across it since I came back. Good luck!

Many members made discussions about the members that annoys them or members that blocked them.
