I Wish it Was an Option

I wish teleporting was an option.
I would be having a myLot meet up weekly, in different places every time.
It would solve some problems, I could be your "good neighbor", and you could be mine. I have one friend that I could have popped over to see about a gadget, and while I was there she could enlighten me about tablets and smart phones.
I have a friend in another state that could sure use something that is my surplus, I would enjoy just popping over there and sharing with her.
Some of you smart guys, when you figure out how to do that, please let me know.

You would get to see your beloved Osprey more often, as well as the grandkids and Doodle.Visits would not be so far apart. Oh, and think of the shopping!!

Wouldn't that be wonderful, I would be popping over to tea at Jabo's and sitting on Annas Patio and meeting Barry for coffee!! Not to mention popping down to our house in Florida whenever we wanted.

I know. I would just love bveing your neighbor and it's the same with a lot of folks here and at Facebook who I haven't gotten to meet in person. Sometimes we could pop up some popcorn and find a funny movie to watch or something. Give each other recipes.

I've always said that if I could have a super power it would be to snap my fingers (Bewitched style) and be where I want to be. Travelling really isn't that much fun at all, and it can be expensive. I would be able to meet a lot more people if I could just snap my fingers and show up in someone's backyard.

We could also go to South America where they originated. I bet there are some other new items for us to see. I have never seen purple carrots, either but they tell me they are good.

@GardenGerty An instant trip to South America - that'd be cool! We could head for the Olympics while we're at it! We have purple and yellow carrots in the markets (it's usually a bag of mixed colored carrots).

Teleportation seems cool and all, but most people don't know how it works, and that's what scares me. It is essentially destroying yourself in one place, and recreating yourself instantly in another place. This very thought scares me, and I'm pretty sure such technology won't even exist till the 3000's and would mostly be used on objects, not sentient beings.
