My son is hyper

My youngest son is a very hyperactive kid. He moves a lot. He plays a lot. These may be the reasons why his teachers are annoyed. I was called by the principal one day because of his foolishness. Will his attitude change when he becomes adolescent? He's eleven years old.

That remembers me of myself! I was like that before hitting puberty, so time will change everything. I mean you cannot change a personality, that's how a person is made, and nothing to be ashamed of unless you lying or stealing. I'm still fast in my decisions, talkative, hyperactive, extra energy, when i was younger i used to jump around home punching the pillows, draining that "extra energy" from my body. Nothing to worry about. At school i remember, i always used to finish the exams first, ending up with some basic obvious mistakes. My teacher was always mad and once she said that to my mother, that i need a change. But my mother confronted her with the word "I don't know how to change my kid, it's his personality, you are the teacher here, then you tell me how to change him". I don't praise this type of personality, as it has its own negative sides, you may ended up saying something that you will really regret afterwards. Then again, Puberty will hit on him in 2 or 3 years and you will see changes.

I wouldn't worry too much, my son was very hyperactive at that age, but he grew into a fine man - I'm really proud of him.
