They are making the girl in the train into a movie.

I was on facebook earlier and I saw it. "The Girl on The Train." Or is it in? Either way, they are making it into a movie. I've read the book, and apparently so has a friend of mine. I think we will just have to plan to go see it together. It's coming out soon, and I can't wait to see it. I just hope they don't ruin it too much. I don't want to give the plot away if you've not read the book. It's about a girl on a train (duh) and the view she sees out her window each day as well as what she imagines the lives are like for one particular home she passes by each morning and night. It's really a good book and one I doubt you'd want to put down.

Thanks. If you do get it, I hope you'll like it. It was a surprisingly good book, though at first I wasn't sure I'd like it. I ended up reading it in two days when I did read it.

Yes, the film is coming out very soon. I haven't read the book, and might not now until I see the film.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Sometimes I'll watch it before, sometimes afterwards. For series that I haven't already read (The Hunger Games) I'll often watch the first film then read the books. If it's something I haven't heard of before, and I only see the book after hearing that the film is going to be released, I tend to watch the film first. Others, of course, I've read long before I knew the were going to be made into a film (from The Hobbit to The Martian).

@egdcltd That is pretty much how I end up doing it. I watched the Hunger Games movie, and haven't yet read the book. The Outlander series I plan to watch first as well.

Some people prefer to watch the movie first, I've done that before. I hope you'll enjoy the storyline all the same, no matter which way you "watch" it.

I have been seeing the commercial for this movie for a couple of weeks now. I have it in my queue on Netflix.

Isn't it coming out in theaters first? I really don't know because I didn't check it out too thoroughly. I've read the book and want to watch the movie, so if it just gonna be on netflix that'd be great...

@celticeagle It seems like the only time I go to the theater is if someone is going to go with me. I don't tend to go, but may once every few years.

Unfortunately those names don't mean too much to me. I am more into books than I am into television.

@JohnRoberts Oh okay. I figured they would get someone British as the story is based in and around London. I can't wait until it comes out, I just how it doesn't disappoint.

What you describe sounds like a good movie and book, however the preview I saw on television makes it seems like a HORROR movie!

haha I didn't actually watch the preview. I just saw that they were making a movie and it'd be out soon. The book is more suspenseful than horror, but you never know what creative liberties they took with the movie.
