She Shouts At Me When Ever We Argue On Critical Issues.

I am disheartened to say that my wife can be sometimes unduly harsh when treating issues, though i acknowledge that she can be sweet at time i.e, she always feels for the oppressed in the society, she has a heart of gold, but she has this weakness of not accepting her fault when she make mistakes, i was on my way back from dropping off our daughter at school yesterday when she called and asked me if i was not back yet, i told her i will be at home in a bit, when i got back as usual i quickly rush into the kitchen and made us breakfast of fried eggs and tea, after breakfast she narrated to me how she told our security man to help her fetch water to fill the drum in the kitchen, the security man fetched two gallons of water and complained to her that this is not part of his duties, my wife got angry at his complaint and was furious to the point that she instructed him to resign from his job, after narrating the matter to me, i told her it is not ideal to relieve him of his job just because he refused to fetch water for her, i told her to remember many times this same security man has assisted her in doing some household chores in the past but my wife insisted that this guy must resign, i pleaded with her not to treat him harshly, i preached to her to forgive and reprimand him instead of sacking him from his job, i asked her why is it that she is consistently having issues with this security guy, but she flare up and was shouting at me vigorously, so i had to pick my lap top and left the room for her so that i don't get provoked, even till now as i write this piece she has stopped talking to me, please guys what did i do wrong? am i wrong not to allow her to have her way and send the poor security guy packing for no just cause? Guys your comments and suggestions will be appreciated please.
