Smooch the Cat Makes a Rare Appearance on MyLot

There were days, when he was younger, that Smooch was happy to line up for the occasional photo shot, knowing he would be appearing online. He made regular appearances. But, now he is 15 going on 16, he prefers to remain out of the limelight. Consequently, trying to get this updated photo was quite a mission. He turned and looked out the window, then he faced me but looked down at the floor. No Mum, he said, you're not taking any more photos of me. After a lot of patience I managed to get this photo, but I have a feeling this may be his last myLot appearance for a while.

@valmnz Our little cat got needy towards the end too. She ended up with feline leukaemia and we had her put down. It was a very sad day for us.

i remember when i was a teenager and we got our 3rd puppy...i used to obsessively take pictures of him. As he grew he started walking away from me every time i took my camera out...he was clearly tired of it. At first i thought it was the flash that might be hurting him...but he would walk away even if i turned it off.
