And I thought they are real.

I can't remember whose discussion did I comment on being fooled by an orchid.
Because the roses were all in bloom, I took pictures of these again, including the hanging orchids in the driftwood.I was so overwhelmed with the violet orchids that my brother showed me,that I took more pics, only to be laughed at by him while saying,"those are not real".
Even my sister is also fooled. She added water into the flower vases where 3 stalks of violet orchids are placed. She wanted the orchids to stay long.
Have you been fooled by an item as if it is real?
Image follows once I am in my phone.

I usually check the soil first. But so far there had been no fake plants in the garden. Otherwise, it would be a waste of water.

yes when th soil is moist or wet, it would mean that the plant is watered, right? but i also recall a comment that you placed that you prefer to plant vegetables like the moringa.

Yes, my Mom had a plant that looked so real. Then I realized that it was fake.

the makers of these fake flowers have that talent to make one fake item as real or close to real, item, like the flowers. they can fool us buyers if they sell these fake ones.
i saw one seller who forced me to buy a plant with a carnation flower, but i told her the flower was just inserted in the stem because the leaves of the 'supposedly carnation' was that of a tree, a non-flowering tree that we call Batanes tree.

Yes, and we have some on our front landing to fool others. It just makes things look a bit brighter.

indeed, a fake flower in our garden adds color to a dull lawn.

my sister watered the orchids because she thought these were real. when we water a fake flower, maybe a screw in our brain is loose, right? and yes, there are so many flowers that look fake too, but are real and true

Some fake flowers are made so well, it is easy to mistake them for real flowers @ridingbet , I love the colour of these in your photo.

yes, the texture and the scent can bring us to the reality that the orchids are fake.
