Earth Quake All of a sudden

Philippines
April 4, 2017 8:33am CST
While mylotting or watching my favorite korean series (again) all of a sudden my table and chair shakes. I didn't want to make a post about it because I thought I was rocking my chair or table while internet surfing. But then, I saw my sister in laws post and noticed about the Earth quake. Glad Mom was sleeping and didn't feel this quake. Darn! I wasn't ready or it could have brought down the house, Literally!
A magnitude 5.4 earthquake jolted Batangas province and other areas on Tuesday night, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.

That's a bit strong, We didn't experience it. The faultline is too far from my place. I got traumatized of earthquake that struck Baguio City in 1990.

@Letranknight2015 I hope they moved out soon. As usual, they toned down a bit this morning. I hope there will be no earthquake to come. If ever, it would be a disaster.

There was a 5.8 earthquake that rocked Washington, D.C. back in August of 2011. They showed videos of bricks falling down in one of the monuments and people fleeing for safety. Earthquakes are dangerous. Glad no one was hurt in house.

@Letranknight2015 but since earthquakes are natural phenomenon, we do not actually know if it will strike here in my region, and all we must do is pray. i read on FB about bracing oneself for 'the big one"

Quite strong enough to scare you and worry for sure. Glad you are all safe. As usual we never got to hear about it here. We have had about three mild ones say 4.7 richter scale in different places in Navarra. Being on an active fault line sort of scares but at the same time you donĀ“t really worry too much either. Did you get to hear about ours and I suppose not.

@Letranknight2015 Very often the ground trembles but because we have a certain amount of Lorries stalling in the Driveway of their Greenhouse whilst they are loading stuff on. That feels as bad because the ground trembles a good two or three hours sometimes.

Last night, an %.4 Richter earthquake woke me up too. Fortunately my house is made to stand quakes, but still it is scary.
