I think it is disgusting how Ivanka Trump was treated with contempt by the German people after accepting an invitation from Angela Merkel to speak there about women's eunterpreneurship. She was hissed and booed by the audience and grilled by the by the moderator about her role Trump's administration. It was shameful on the part of the people attending that session.

I saw the headline but didn't read the story. I later heard on a talk radio show that only two people booed, from the back of the room, and the media saw that as her being booed by the whole audience. More twisting of the facts from an American media that hates America.

Likely it was more fake news as the MSM are masters of that, but they still treated her rudely

Germany has more than 80 million inhabitants. I find the title of your post rather over the top. This is exactly the style Trump uses. Take a small incident and blow it up out of proportions. @dragon54u @Corbin5 Thanks for seeing things in perspective.

Saw that bit as I was going into the Kitchen and did not make much of it really. I thought perhaps it was just a bad day for her. Even if they did not like her its not the done thing to boo her and hiss like hat.

I lived in Germany for 11 years. I loved the country and its people. We can't judge a whole group of people because of one event.

It could be shameful for the one who invited her; or maybe she just wanted to really put Ivanka in such a bad situation.

I am German in heritage, although I am fully American, but I think I am within my rights to say this. German people are angry and rude. Not sure WHY that is. But they are REALLY uptight.
