No (more) balls!

Yesterday, mighty Thor was making advances again to Macy, who just delivered 4 puppies last December. His testosterone levels are way up high again. I therefore asked my sister if we can have Thor and Zeus be castrated. She called the veterinarian, and the procedure was scheduled this morning.
At 10 AM, I drove the car, with my son, my sister, Thor and Zeus. We kept Xander from being neutered because he is a pure-breed Japanese Spitz, so he can mate with Macy to produce pure-bred Spitz.
The veterinarian injected the anesthesia in Zeus’ right front limb vein. Then Zeus became drowsy, with his tongue partially out to his left, and eyes slightly open. Dr. AR performed the procedure first to Zeus. I assisted him, because my son said he felt sorry for the dogs. He left the table. I told him and my sister that the procedure is not bloody. In 10 minutes, Zeus was already castrated.
Next was Thor. Dr. AR injected anesthesia in Thor’s 2 front limbs, because the dog was agitated. Once asleep, the doctor performed the procedure.
Now, the 2 dogs have no more balls. But the doctor also said their sex drive is not affected. They can still mate, but they can no longer have the female dog conceive.
(There was a news here yesterday about a wife cutting off her husband’s manhood because of womanizing.)
And there is also a colloquial phrase here that when a man cannot be the man he is expected to be, he is described as having “no balls”.

yes, to prevent over-population of dogs in our house. hahaha! 11 dogs against 3 humans? how is that?
yes, that news is horrible. i believe it is not only here in the Philippines that the crime is done;even in foreign countries.

@ridingbet oh yes there are crimes happening everywhere. Recently a husband was very frustrated as the wife was taking too long to prepare dinner. There was the porridge on the stove which was cooking. The man took the hot porridge and threw it on the woman. This happened recently in my country

@Nawsheen oh, that is so bad. why do some men think that their wives are their household helpers. that is not the way to show respect to their wives.
did the woman suffer 1st degree burns?

my friend, Thor is the sweetest pet dog we have. he always stays inside the house and sleeps. he is a pet dog. when he was still a puppy, he sleeps with me in my room, and until now, he wags his tail at the sight of me.
no, i don't think he is devastated. practically all puppies here are his offspring. he is a very 'macho' male dog. hahaha!

@JustBhem yes ah! he will have more testosterone levels up, so no worries now if he rides on the female dogs.

yes my lady. so if ever Xander will ride on Macy and their 'romance' will bear litter, i will be certain that the puppies will all be pure Japanese Spitz.

Is that a way to make them neuter or something? that's sad. But I didn't know that can happen to dogs.

yes that is true, my friend. the statement is very common now here on FB, Philippines version because there are so many men who demonstrate their 'machismo' by having 2 or more women in their lives. but they do not have the balls to face their responsibilities. hahaha!

yes, castration is really a scary word. hahaha! that was what the veterinary doctor told over the phone when somebody asked what he was doing. he said, "i am castrating 2 dogs right now", and in English. i thought the caller is an English, because he said Mr. Wallace was calling him.

yes, and right now, Thor is walking and Zeus is asleep. i think they don't feel the post-anesthesia pain.

no it is not at all funny, because we did this to control the female dogs from conceiving again.

yes and actually "no balls" or "basag ang pula" or "walang bay_g", have many connotations especially to us Pinoys.
