Do you vote for the right person?

What are the parameters you look in a candidate to get your vote?
Is it the person, party or just with the flow of everyone?
Do you get emotionally, for example if you like a person but you are sure that he si going to loose with a big difference still ill you vote for him? Or you go with the flow for your voting decision.

yes, i still vote for a person even if i know he or she will lose. my parents and siblings also vote for whomever they like.
