Chibi our Pomeranian sleeps in my room. My son brings him with this door mat because the dog prefers to sleep on it.
So when I went to my room last night with Chibi brought in by my son, the dog automatically folded the mat to cover himself up. As of this moment, Chibi is still asleep in my room, assuming that position like in the picture.
It seems the door mat is Chibi’s security blanket.
Do your dogs have their own security blankets?

@rheicel no, Chibi sleeps on the floor. we don't let the dogs sleep with us in our bed, because they may 'dream and suddenly bark or snore'.

@ridingbet that is quite scary to hear, since you get a really big shot if a dog bites you

@lady1993 in fact, i injected myself with tetanus anti-toxin since our dogs have already received the anti-rabies vaccine.
Sydney, the Pomeranian of my brother and niece, bit my right big toe this morning that it bled profusely. The right toe has a bruise, and my right palm also has...

really? i think there are some dogs of different breeds that destroy anything by biting, scratching, or tearing them items apart. a dog actually bit my slipper, and another one bit me.
The puppies are sharpening their teeth again and I have the evidence to prove it. The left red slipper is mine;the blue one is my son's. Our pairs of flip -...

The previous dogs of my mom and younger brother and the current dog of my mom have their own blankets.

blankets are sometimes needed by the dogs especially if they have thin fur, like a local mutt. sometimes Trixie, a local bread, shivers after bath even though the water used is lukewarm.

really? maybe miss daisy is so warm-blooded and hyperactive. Chibi is already old, that his fur is beginning to fall off, and is getting rough. i like how he folds the mat to cover himself.

My dogs never had. They considered the mats as their wee wee pads. They had a bed of their own except for Grumble who slept next to me.

our dogs do not have blankets to cover themselves especially this cold climate. but Chibi is getting old that is why maybe his temperature regulating center is already getting bad.
