Looks like the eve on January 31st will be a one time thing in our lifetimes, I sure hope I do not forget to be outside when it happens:
A total eclipse of a "blue moon" will occur on Jan. 31 — the first time this has happened since 1866.

Typical it won't be visible in the UK! @marguicha it does not look like you will see it in Chile either!

bummer @garymarsh6 well, I would have forgotten anyway, I don't like to be outside when it's cold and our nights do get cold.

I probably won't be able to see it even if it's not cold, so far this region never has the right view of any of these events ..... maybe in 150 years though, unless I'm napping
