Why did you join myLot?

Come for the money, stay for the fun, right?
I’ve heard a lot of people say that the money we make is not important here on myLot, and even after a few days here, I have to agree. It isn’t. But I’ll have to admit that that is not why I joined.
I heard about myLot from a recommendation as a credible site that pays you money to chat, and I thought, why not? I want the money and I love to chat. I came on here for the money and to date I’ve interacted with a really fun and interesting group of people from all around the world. I’m learning so much more here than I would on other sites interacting with the people I already know.
It’s become so addictive actually, that when I am doing other work, I just have to sneak back in to peep at what is going on here, to tap into the hot topics or interesting discussions or even to get the ball rolling on those with no responses yet.
I was a Facebook junkie before, but now I’m a shameless myLotter. I came for the money, but I stayed for the fun.
So tell me, how did you hear about myLot and why did you join?

i am totally agree with you .i'm also facebook junkie. i joined this just for money but after getting response from people and earn some money i can say its better than facebook.

I think comparison between fb and mylot can't be done. On FB I have all my knows and I stay updated of their doings and keep them updated with mine. Here on mylot we make friends with total strangers and go for discussions openly which we usually don't do on FB

For much the same reason. As for the fun, and it IS fun, don't let anyone tell you with a straight face they would do it if the money stopped. Soooo many sites before I heard people say they'd keep going no matter what. But go to those sites once the money stops and you find everyone has gone, and eventually the site just goes away. Almost every single time. I say have fun AND make money. But part of the fun is actually making some money.

I joined the site because I learned it gives us a chance to earn... And even though I earn very little, I will admit it's one of the reasons I am still here... Anything is better than nothing! But I like interacting with others and sharing my thoughts, experiences, etc. with others and I get to write in the process. So, that's a big reason why I stay. And if I didn't like that perhaps I wouldn't be here... After all money is not everything.

A chance to earn, to interact, to share thoughts...
I think on other platforms it could get to be a bit incestuous, right? And incestuous might be a strong word.... but I like that here you don't have the weight of friend and family judgement. You are free to chat and have fun and meet new people and, of course, earn pennies at the same time.

I wont lie, of course it was the earnings at first but when I started actively participating, I realized it was more than the earnings. It was more of the friendship you build and the interaction. Priceless.

I know when I originally joined up, many years ago now, It seemed liek a fun way to earn money. Who doesn't like to chat and socialize..and getting paid for it is awesome!
