Tasting Keebler Grasshopper cookies / myLot

No, Ernie Keebler and his fellow elves are not making chocolate covered grasshoppers. These are mint and fudge cookies. I have no idea why these cookies are called grasshoppers except grasshoppers and mint share green color. But these cookies are not green being mint flavored chocolate cookie coated in fudge with “natural flavors” and “made with 100% cocoa.” They are small round wafers reminiscent of Oreo thins. Mint is one of my favorite flavors and these cookies taste pretty good. As to taste, thing girl scout cookies.

To me, the word "grasshopper" for cookies is a big turn off.

I like those thin mint Girl Scout cookies. These might be worth a try? Perhaps the grasshopper is a reference to Kane in "Kung Fu." Although I don't think Keebler was around back then

On second thought, the grasshopper name remains a mystery

Everything is fine but for the name! I am really wondering what made them to name the cookies after the Grasshoppers when they have nothing to to do with these cookies!
