Today, September 8, is my cousin’s birthday. And I almost forgot. 
Every member of my family has little something to give him as a birthday present. Except me. 
So, one thing that comes to mind was to bake him his favorite treat-- Cheese cupcake. I immediately checked the ingredients if I have them all. And yes, I still have enough to bake two dozen cupcakes, except that the main ingredient was not present, the ‘Cheese’.
Glad that I woke up early, so as early as 8 AM I headed to the supermarket to buy a big box of cheddar cheese. And I spent most of my Saturday morning in the kitchen, baking. 
At lunch, my family had a small birthday celebration at my cousin’s house. And my cupcake was a hit. Good thing I knew how to bake. Or else, I’ll just buy him a box of chocolates. 
Do you have an experience similar to mine, like, forgetting a birthday?...

I don't usually forget birthdays but I don't usually give gifts too. I give gifts when I thought of giving them and it could be any day of the month or any month of the year.

I guess, for those who have tasted it would ask if they can order from you. 
I am not a fan of pancake because they are too sweet. But your cheese cupcake seem to be so delicious.

@SIMPLYD Yes. An additional flavor to my list. I already have choco and mocha cupcakes which are also bestsellers.

You're right. I've received inquiries if they can order my cheese cupcakes. I'm just happy that they loved it.
My family are the ones being excited if someone ordered my cupcakes because it means they'll get the free extras. I usually do an extra batter for extra treats for myself, but usually, my family are the ones getting them first hand.
