I've complained about this a few times, but I think I'm finally getting to the root of my disagreement ... all these people asking each other to 'pray to God for them' (and everyone else claiming to 'pray to God' for the needs & desires of the sick & injured & unfortunate, and 'praising God' for all the happiness & good fortune for friends & family)--- My deal against them is ... How do you know it's God answering their prayers? How do you know it's not just Satan trying to fool you into thinking he's God? Because Satan has NO ill will against God, except he thinks God is undeserving of the position---he thinks God 'stole' the job he thinks should be 'his own!' So when we publicly-thank God for God's gifts to us or -beg God to mercifully bestow another blessing upon us, that gratitude or begging is quickly snatched up by "the prince of the power of the air" (and gracefully accepted as if it was meant to go to him!) https://youtu.be/VYXKNcYR1pA That's a reason why Lord Jesus tells us NOT to pray until we're behind the shut doors of our private rooms.
