Newly elected government had started functioning in Pakistan now. PM, Imran khan has called for fresh talks with India. However, the actions of new government do not seem to be matching with what they have been talking. In such conditions, will the new government be any different from the previous one?

Time will tell if imran's govt does something good. As when politicians want vote they promise a lot but afterwards they do nothing what they promised.

In this case Imran and Modi both had promised too many things. However, point here is that both should think for better future of people of subcontinent. The first requirement is that there should be suitable environment, in which the people of both countries feel like coming together. The terrorists activities should be stopped. Otherwise nothing can save both the countries from wasting lot of resources.

@MenRgreat Yes, we not only feel but know for the sure that Pakistan government supports terrorism. It is the snake brought up in your backyard that is biting you. So no surprise that you also suffer from terrorism. So it's time that Pakistani government stop differenting between good terrorists and bad terrorists. You said that Indian Government is not responding positively to Pakistan Government call for talks because it wants to get votes in the coming election. In your country the elections are over so no political compulsion.. then why Pakistani Government doesn't act positively...???

@deserve40 absolutely but I don't think it will happen as Pakistan won't stop terrorist activities with in their country.

I hope some change will come after Imran Khan took over. He has called for talks and it would be good on the part of India to accept the offer. It depends on Modi and his BJP government whether they want enmity to continue.

If Imran is going to follow the military, then there's no way that relationship can improve. Sentiments in India are against the military and not against the government or Imran as a person. However, if the support to terrorism is not going to stop, then talks will be of no use.
