The Flat Earth society believes that earth is a giant pancake, flat and not a sphere. In a recent meeting, the Flat Earthers decided that Australia does not exist. The people who claim that they live in Australia are paid actors and it is all a big conspiracy. What do you think? Do we live on a giant pancake? Is it a government conspiracy that the earth is a globe? Are you a flat-earther?
There's a growing number of people who seem to think the world is, in fact, flat. But it gets better. They also insist that Australia is actually just one big hoax. According to a viral Facebook rant, the entire country (and presumably the 24 million peopl

This is great news, John. This means Vegemite isn't real. Sadly, though, it also means AC/DC isn't real.

Most people are deluded - they still think that the earth is round and that Australia exists. I am glad that someone finally told us the real truth about the world

I should quickly book a vacation there so I can tell everyone that I have visited a place that doesn't exist... ;) That would be a great story to add to the family tree!!

@akalinus Those people who pretend that the earth is flat surely never traveled using an airplane. If they did they must be blind.

Maybe these people have not read the Bible? In Isaiah 40:22 we learn that God dwells above the Circle of the Earth. Well, even a pancake can be round as a circle, but the Hebrew word that is translated to ”Circle” can also mean ”sphere” - read more at

You mean @JudyEv is a figment of my imagination? Darn, and here I thought she was real and liked a song I posted last week! I have a simple question for the flat-earthers: WHY don't they simply provide us with pictures of the corners of the earth? There has to be an edge if the world is flat, so let's see it!

Yes, @JudyEv is an actress. She is getting paid for keeping the illusion alive. I'm glad you asked about the borders. The giant pancake is surrounded by mounds of ice and it keeps people from slipping over the edge. At least, that is the way I understand it. Aren't you glad you asked?

It's quite obvious to me that all of us who live in the Northern Hemisphere are the illusionary ones (including those, of course, who claim that their Earth is flat. The Northern Hemisphere is all a big conspiracy manufactured by Australian Aborigine medicine men and the Ma'ori people to explain where all these white people came from. Since I don't exist, you probably can't see this comment unless you are reading it upside down.

Believe it or not, some people still think the world is flat, and that we are all victims of a giant conspiracy. Alex Moshakis heads to Birmingham to meet Britain’s Flat Earthers

I have visited Australia twice and so I know it exists. How can a person act of the part of a koala? An echidna is even smaller. I have also visited New Zealand and it is next door to Australia. Other countries are in the Southern hemisphere that I have been to like South Africa, Argentina and Chile are real too.

Oh my goodness @akalinus @Plethos @JudyEv @valmnz I am really laughing out loud at the strings of comments on this. So when Captain Cook discovered Australia in 1770, NASA had already taken the trouble to train actors and place them in strategic places, so they could pretend to be all around coastal Australia and places like the Cook islands, so as to be 'discovered' - but where were they really? And how did NASA manage this when this organisation wasn't created until 1958?

Don't you just love people? I actually hope this is true. I once heard a quite feasible theory that the earth was a spinning disk and the reason you could walk in a straight line and end up back where you started was due to the Coriolis force which acts on moving objects on a spinning flat surface. Fascinating. But nonsense!! If Australian's are paid actors does that make New Zealanders the amateur dramatics enthusiasts? @JudyEv might appreciate that one. Or rather she might act as though she appreciates it!
