Dead Battery

I needed groceries this morning, so I went out to my car. Nothing, not a click, it didn't even try to start. So, I called my daughter, an she came over to give me a jump. I was hoping for the best, maybe I left a door unlatched or a light on. But no, it turns out the fan keeps running after I turn the key off. It runs so long it drains the battery. It's always something.

This is weird, surely a bad contact of the fan. I hope it is easy and inexpensive to fix.
