now this is the weirdest side effect i've noticed so far. you've heard of "phantom limb syndrome",where amputees still "feel" a missing part? i guess you could call this phantom womb syndrome. it's been a year, but every month around the time i used to get periods,my body kinda cramps up.hey stupid..what're you doing?it's not there anymore. it seems like it's expecting hormones that aren't there now. maybe it's the replacement estrogen doing this,i don't know. i wonder how long it's gonna take to quit doing it.

I do not remember having that problem, but I also did not have painful periods, which is odd, cause when they went after the fibroids I had they found sufficient endometriosis to take an extra hour and a half in surgery. Maybe my body was just happy the whole issue was gone. I will say that while I was on estrogen replacement I had awful headaches, doc said that was why and to try taking it at night.

i get headaches once in awhile, but i don't think it's the estrogen. just stress or something.

I'm sorry you're dealing with this. Did you talk to a doctor about this?
