My Craving, Solved !

My craving to eat lechon, was solved the other day , July 17th . It was our company’s 10th year anniversary. The whole afternoon , after the healing mass from 9:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. the employees were free to choose what they would like to do in any of the entertainment amenities of the mall. Some including me, did bowling and videoke. Some, did the zipline. Some ,brought their children and wer eable to play the whole day in the inflatables and playland. After all those activities, we had a sumptuous early dinner at 5:30. I was so happy when I saw that there is a lechon (roasted pig) because I was craving for it the past days. Work and these activities made me so busy the past days. I hope everyone is doing fine.

You also made me crave for lechon paksiw. I certainly would choose it over menudo. So, why did you not choose lechon paksiw?

@JustBhem Yes , menudo is tasty but lechon is much tastier specially the crispy skin. And when made.into lechon paksiw, it becomes so.much more delicious.

I wasn't actually expecting a lechon. However, when i asked the HR officer since they are the ones who bought the foods, if there is lechon she said yes. That immediately made me crave for it.

Thank you. Lechon is an expensive dish because you have to buy it as a whole roasted pig like that wrapped one in the picture and the one being chopped by the chef amongst the pictures. So, i was so happy i finally solved my craving for lechon.

The owner of the company we are employed are kind and generous people. They return the good works of the employees by activities like this and it's always with foods. Do you know what a lechon is already? I know a lot of Filipinos have posted pictures of it. In one of the pictures , the chef was chopping the whole lechon so everyone can have a taste of it. A party is considered grand when there is a lechon.

Actually, at SM FoodHall here in Legazpi city there is a stall there that sells value meals with slices of lechon belly. I was planning to go there and eat on Sunday when i go bavk to Daraga from my visit to my Mama in Bacacay. The termjnal of the public van from Bacacay is in front of SM. I won't tell my hubby anymore because he would not approve of me.eating that.

You don't like lechon? There were fish fillet too. We get to eat that grilled tuna belly in restaurants only. It will be too expensive for the company to have that for the 85 employees.

Indeed. This summer, last Jube 15 we just had oir summer outing. Then this. Every once a month we have the so called townhall. There, little tokens of appreciation and gifts to the birthday ceebrators for the months are being given. Then, we have foods bought in celebration of the birthdays for the month. I am so happy to be in this company.

Yes, the owners of our company are kind, God fearing and appreciative of their employees. We are.lucky to have such employers. They actually own different companies. And they also have celebrations of their company annivesaries. We just had our team building at their firs class resort. All expenses are paid by the owners.
