It’s Difficult to Lead a Healthy Lifestyle…

That was my thought. We may try to live accordingly but there are many triggers that mislead us. Eating a balance diet, an exercise, and maintaining a good night sleep is not that achievable to some of us. I have my share of guilt of that too. Of course we tried to do our part but perhaps failed. In the end, it’s only us who will suffer the negative effects of our lifestyle. And when it’s too late, it will cost us more. Biggest CONGRATULATIONS to those who have already achieve their goal of having a good lifestyle and habit.

We are all guilty of that. I think mainly because the world is full of things that distracts us from getting healthy. It is ironic that most of the healthy foods we are supposed to eat are not as appealing and appetizing meals to have. But those unhealthy ones are the ones the look appealing and good to eat. That is what makes it difficult to maintain. It is a battle of bitter veggies versus sweet foods or appealing fatty foods that are being peddled around the place.

You are very true on that. And the effects later? It"s shocking and horrible but it's not our concern for the meantime.

@ZedSmart I realised it is just one aspect of healthy lifestyle. We have exercise and correct sleeping habits too. Those are difficult to do since we have the gadget that glues us to our seats or bed and not doing our supposed regular exervise as well. Same is true with sleeping habits we are glued to watching Netflix on the wee hours of the night since we cannot let go of a series that makes us stapled on watching it. This is based on a true story I guess.

@rsa101 Amen to that. Maintaining a good and calm attitude is necessary as well but sometimes it's impossible to keep your cool because of the negative vibes and people surrounding you....

Yes, we do not care much about what it can cause as long as we're satisfied with our cravings.

Same here, i find it challenging to keep a healthy diet, much more a healthy lifestyle. I do thibk that discipline and motivation are the key to reach a healthier life.

The influence of modern lifestyle must not be underestimated when it comes to living healthy. However, there are those who are stronger because of their upbringing. Thanks to the foresight of health conscious parents for they have raised children that are now predispose to reject unhealthy temptations. Already, it is an uphill battle to stay in the course of healthy lifestyle, moreso if born in a culture of instant gratification.
