A Day Of Cooking

Its been forever since I cooked for hours in one day, I wanted homemade vegetable soup and I had a fridge full of fresh veggies.
I chopped all the veggies, added water and spices, and put them on the grill eye outside, covered with a lid and let it cook for a few hours.
Next I fried chicken wings, Tony`s request, out there but I stayed outside with those.
I did cook enough for several days.
Did you cook anything today?

I have cooked a lot these last 3 days so today it was all leftovers. I still have some.

Cooking? What is that?! You don’t have pizza delivery?? 
Actually...since I’m single I don’t cook much. I used to be pretty darn good at it, though.

@andriaperry — good for you! I don’t care enough for it to have ever developed a “habit.” I’ll get the Healthy Choice pizzas (single serving — 380 calories) once in a while and it satisfies any “craving.”

Nope, but I am defrosting a little Cornish hen which is going into my slow cooker tomorrow. Your veggie soup sounds really good,

Sounds good to me. I made chicken the other day I will have for our Sabbath and for our holiday and so did not cook today. I have spent days get food ready for our Sabbath. Wednesday is usually my cooking day but it will be fasting so will be getting ready for our last set of holidays which starts next Sunday night. I will getting all ready on Thursday.
