Everyday in my life is very hard for me but through God I will survive and I am happy because he was always there for me every sessions of my dialysis, I have diagnosed Stage V Chronic Kidney Disease, I am started on Hemodialysis December 22, 2016 until now.I thank w/ my family and friends has always there if need help.

It is good that you stay positive Vicky. There is also a member here at Mylot who has dialysis 2 or 3 times a week. You will meet her one day at Mylot. She is from Davao.

I have CKD, too, but I am not on dialysis yet. Even now, it can be frustrating and hard to deal with, but you're right; through God, we will do what we have to do. You are an inspiration.

@VickyR My kidneys are slowly getting worse, but I am 74 so I am hoping they will hold out. My step father was on dialyses for over 20 years, quite some time ago so I'm familiar with it. Yes, red meat, salty foods, sodas, too much sugars. I have trouble with gout due to the kidney problem so things like mushrooms have to be avoided, too. We will get by

Peavey Thank you my new friend I am happy to meet you in mylot,your lucky because you are not undergo Hemodialysis, we are avoid eating red meat,vegetable,fruits, salty food and soda drinks.
