It is sometimes the attitude of some applicants not to read instruction which may result to employers concluding that their comprehension is poor.. There was a time you posted already all the details and yet they were still asking for details. For sure this will irk the employers.

People will not take the time to read anymore. They are always in a hurry.

I guess that happens especially now that we are in the age of instant in everything. We get information as fast as the net goes that is why their minds have the tendency to run fast with things realising that they may have skip some important details in the end.

@Janet357 That is true. It reflects more of their character and attitude towards details.

yes but this should not be a habit especially when we are applying for a job.

I have noticed in the younger generation that they are like quick readers who scan the paragraphs as if they had absorbed everything. And later they will commit mistakes for not following instructions..

@Janet357 sometimes I ask when I don't fully understand the instructions when it is not written clearly.

Most people can't even read to the end of an email. I sometimes send an email with information in it and they reply asking this, that and the other which have already been covered.

it is irritating isnt it? we write everything so as to save time like they will not ask anymore, and yet they are too lazy to read.

I agree with you. I have an article in Hubpages about how to bring your dog to the Philippines. All the information is there but there are still a lot of people sending me questions about what they can do and what they need. If they only read the article, they would not have asked me.

@Janet357 I answered them because the questions asked are also published under the article. Besides, I have to edit if the question is grammatically wrong. A must in HP or else it would not be published.

did you still answer them or you just ignored them?

Because most of them are in a hurry to just fill and go

You are right, indeed we should before applying are required to read an instruction first. so we can understand more, and probably won't irritate the employer

so true. the employer inserted enough effort to write all the details and they would just ignore it?
