Seats for the seniors

In some commercial places here, there are the so called seats for the seniors. As what the caption says, Silya means chair and Lolo and Lola means grandparents. Those chairs are for the use of the elders. Okay, I did not sit because I don't feel like and elder yet, waheehee.

@LadyDuck I think we inherited that rocking chair from the Americans after the 2nd world war they were still here.

I love to seat that kind of chairs. Because I remembered when my grandmother has a chair like that I always seat there and sleep haha, it's a good feelings

That is actually nice to sit on because it is very relaxing especially when you have a companion. Now I remember in another mall where I was able to sit in that kind of chair. In the other chair was a movie director who was my colleague in the office.

@sol_cee I experienced that in our recent trip abroad. In the airport here, I was about to lift my hand-carry bag to the plane's bin when someone took it from me. That guy was so kind to help me even if I didn't need help, waheehee.

That is a noble idea to give the elders the privilege of those rocking chairs. My grandmother had that kind of chair when I was young and it makes her sleepy.

@Alexandoy Yeah I guess they just look on you and if you have white hair their initial assessment is you are a senior already.

@rsa101 that is always the case. When in a restaurant or in fast food, they always gauge the age by the color of the hair. But now that dyeing the hair is common so they just try to count the wrinkles, waheehee.

I pity the guards because they are in a quandary when it comes to the privileges of the seniors. If they consider a person a senior and you are not, the tendency is to be angry at the guard. And vice versa, the senior would also get angry why he is ignored.

It's nice that Tiendesitas value the elderly... Some business establishments aren't like that and even senior lanes those personnel who are assigned there are grumpy. I hope other businesses in the Philippines act like at Tiendesitas. Thanks for sharing!

@Alexandoy Oh really? But seldom i see such appreciation to elders on commercial spaces here in my town much worst the senior's lane on one of the busy groceries here the staffs are grumpy so it's such a nice scene to see which i hope other businesses should practice. Thanks for your response!
