Yes gals and guys, our place here in the Philippines, which is in Albay, of the Bicol region was put into enhanced community quarantine since March 18 until April 12 . Actually the whole of Luzon. Manila is in total lockdown since as of now there is already 17 dead and 300 plus infected. Only groceries ,pharmacies , and take out counters of fast foods are open for a limited time. Only 1 of the household is given a community pass to do all those above if there is a need to do so. So,everyone is at home to avoid being infected by corona virus. No work, except for the skeletal force of banks and those mentioned above. What about you guys, what is being done in your place for the people to avoid being inflicted withCOVID19?

I haven't heard of one person per household being given a pass but that seems a good idea to me.

@SIMPLYD I've heard that the masks you can buy in hardware stores give enough protection for this virus but I don't know if that is true or not.

It's the same situation here in my place, starting tomorrow its gonna be a 24 hour curfew with only one person per family who would be issued a gate pass to buy basic necessities, during the past week curfew was only 8 or 9pm to 5 am

@SIMPLYD actually the term they used in their FB page 24 hrs. Curfew I think was not right cause curfew has a time duration, we are all already like in house arrest or house quarantine

@SIMPLYD We have a few cases in the county. I am sure there is more that isnt known about. Just the way they have essential business described. The factories can work around it and say they are needed. Shows they dont care about the employees.

We are under lockdown. Only allowed to go out in emergency situations. Groceries and other necessary stores will remain open. We have been asked to stock up for a week to avoid going out much. Currently under nationwide curfew for the day.

No at the moment we are being advised to stay indoors if possible but all supermarkets and such places are still open and can still get take aways but most businesses like cafes, restaurants and pubs are closed, I'm staying in anyways as my kids are very young so wouldn't want to risk it but my partner runs out to grab bits, hope you are well :-)

The same is being done here with the exception of one person per household being given a pass. It’s best to stay home now. I feel much safer than going out.

It sounds like what they want to do here in my area. I guess we need to be thankful in a way. At least it will be helping us from coming in contact with the virus.

My province is also under ECQ because of two confirmed cases. My town is already like a ghost town specially last Saturday. All the stores and establishments in the town proper were closed except for one. And they only had few items left. I am the one who goes out to buy even if I don't have yet a quarantine pass. The only ATM in town is also out of order. Whoa...

actually, i am thoroughly enjoying the lockdown. One thing though that bothers me is that the lockdown was supposedly ending April 30. However , it was extended up to May 15. It means this April 30, we will not receive salary. Then on ay 15 also , because since day 1 of quarantine wenare using our remaining paid leaves amd mine was just only 6 days. We have no choice but to use some of our savings. Staying at home is enioyable. Hubby and i gets closer and have lots of time to talk with each other What about there in your place. ?

Yes, prayer is a great weapon too against COVID 19. Here in the Philippines the Oratio.Imperata against COVID 19 is always played on radios . People were encouraged to just hear the masses done by priests to be aired. The masses.at churches are suspended too until this crisis over COVID 19 is done.
