It's raining again in the San Francisco Bay Area!

Over the past week or so, we've had several days of light rain. Nothing big--just a light, steady rain that I call "Seattle-style."
The odd thing is that it only reached my friend's house, ten miles East of here, on one of those occasions.
We talk on the phone (he's the fella I play in several bands with) pretty much every day. I'll check in with him in a few minutes.
It must be some kind of coastal rain that's creeping inland, but not as far as my friend's house.
Anyway, how's the weather where you are? I always enjoy the rain here.

We didn't get April showers this year, but since yesterday we're getting plenty of rain! It hasn't stopped, for two days:( Our front yard is flooding, which usually happens in April for about a week.

I have seen such rains during the Monsoon season.
Some occur within just a 2 to 3 km radius.
Here the temperature is nearing 40 C, and our AC now really needs some repair/service.

I love the term Seattle-style rainfall. I lived in Vancouver, BC, for grad school and we had that type of rain too. Today in Tokyo we are having that style of rain as well. I'm trying to decide whether I want to go out in it or not. If I don't go out at all I get no exercise and then I don't sleep very well.
