I miss the buffet table

It's been a long time since I had the last buffet dining for an occasion. I had 2 trips for the steak and I was not able to eat the other dishes anymore. When I enjoy the food, I focus on that particular food. My wife said that I should be eating a la carte if I would eat only 1 dish. She has a point.

I love a meat restaurant here. They only serve different sorts of meat and they are all huge. When the COVID is over, we have a date with my girls to go there. We´ll take the leftovers to the kids. The dishes are huge.

This reminds me of the Meat restaurants in one tourist spot that we always dine there when we are near the area. For me, it is always porterhouse.

I miss buffets too. I am a huge fan of eating at restaurants that have buffets. I want to make sure I can get my money's worth when I eat out. I can definitely put away a huge quantity of food when I eat.

Yeah I guess we will have to pass such restos for this year. I also miss those kinds of restaurants as I also enjoy eating. I try every dish available there and have a taste of each food there is. Then I just return to those food that meets my taste.

@Alexandoy A la carte quality is different, a steak from the buffet is not really good.

@LadyDuck it depends on the buffet restaurant. The steak in Marriott hotel's buffet restaurant is great although it is quite expensive.

On the contrary, a la carte steak is more expensive because in buffet it is unlimited, waheehee.

The buffet system is very economical as you can eat your heart content and don't to wait after placing the order.

That is the advantage of the buffet although it is quite expensive if you are not a heavy eater.

@jayanth_77 we actually eat our meal in the porch sometimes to get a feel of another place. Dining out is risky.
