Time Flies so Fast

Happy October everyone! I hope you are all doing fine. I was not able to come on Mylot yesterday as when I had time to do so in the evening, the internet connection was gone, suddenly. So, I just did my plan list for today and this weekend.
I will be busy this afternoon baking a birthday cake and 18 cupcakes for tomorrow's 18th birthday celebration of my Pinay friends' daughter. Later this evening, I will frost them with butter icing.
I will be coming on here in between my baking and cleaning the kitchen. I know it is a lot of work but I am fond of baking. Though I am not fond of eating what I bake because the smell makes me full already. Of course, I taste what I bake and set aside one or two slices for later when I am not baking.

The photo was the raspberries I saw when walking at the lake last Wednesday. I didn't harvest them scared of the virus.

I do not mind baking but I hate cleaning up. There are times when I cannot get in as well.

@GardenGerty I got you, it is so annoying, taking out the baking tray from the oven, put it on the sink, it is bigger than the sink, I open the tap and the water spread to the marble and the floor, just to wash the baking tray. Plus, the baking tray is heavy to hold it in one hand and wash it with the other one.

You did wise for not picking up the raspberries, it is possible that some people have already pickes some, maybe sneezed on them, breathed out at them...
Happy birthday to your pinay friend's daughter.
She must be lucky if you bake a cake and 18 muffins for her.
Can you please show a photo of the cake and the cupcakes ?
What is the "Pinay" from the "Pinay friend's daughter" that you wrote ?

@thelme55 Thank you for the clarification. I tend to look and participate at the mylot latest activity section, having a chance to get responds and likes, when the users are more active. Less often I watch a specific user previous activities and even less, their discussions.

Yes, that was what I thought that I didn´t pick the blackberries. Btw, they are blackberries. I made the mistake of naming them.

Pinay is the local name of a female Filipino or a Filipina. That means the daughter of my Filipina friend. Thank you very much.

Happy October.
I feel the same way when I bake or make snacks. I enjoy making them but don't enjoy eating them. Cooking and baking makes me feel full. I can enjoy them later or next day.

They are blackberries @acelawrites. I have confused blackberries with raspberries. No, they don´t carry the virus but since I have seen a jogger spitting on the side road while jogging, it turned me off harvesting the berries while walking.
