It’s Saturday night here in the U.K., and its Valentine’s Day tomorrow. I’m curious to know who actually does anything special for Valentine’s Day, and if so, what? Or are people like me and don’t bother at all?

This year we had Gallentines day. Well, on Saturday (the 13th) my friends and I had a day together. The next morning one of my friend's husbands came by and brought us all flowers.

I always prepare a special dinner and a cake, that's all, no gifts and nothing else.

Even when my husband was alive we never did anything for Valentines Day. I had to have a baby in order to get any flowers from him! He was a sweetie though, and we always said we didn't need a special day to express our love for each other.

We have always celebrated. This year we are staying home and having a special dinner and making our own romance, thanks to the pandemic.
