Good morning to all as it 10.45 AM here in our place. Hope all are doing well. Now the people in our country are returning to a normal life and schools are colleges are opened for children after a long gap of 2 years. My son has gone to college exactly after 2 years. For younger one, his school opened in between and his exams were offline too. The great thing I woke up at 6 am to prepare breakfast and lunch for them. Fortunately the extreme winter is over and now the weather is pleasant and Sunny. I am not sure about the virus, whether it is gone completely or government is hiding the truth and wish to restore the functions as usual. I heard it, there is another threat is on its way. Again let us hope the best and stay positive. Are all the Educational Institutions opened in your place?

I read schools have opened in Delhi. But my kids are still studying online as very few parents have been sending their kids to the school here because they still fear the virus. My kids are in 8th standard and how they will have to do to school in the next session. Their teachers have declared that the classes will continue in hybrid mode till this session and for the next session, it will be decided accordingly.

From 9th they will have to go to school and it is mandatory. Here once the offline class started then they won't take online classes. Only some schools are offered hybrid mode. But that is a good option for those parents, who are not willing to send their children to school. I overheard the conversation of some mothers opposite building, they and their children equally happy on opening school.

@sjvg1976 I understand the concern of parents. Now we have to prepare ourselves to live along with this virus. Have to take precautions and wear mask properly.Use of sanitizer, keeping proper distance will be good for them.

Here also people are not much bothered about masks. But government is very strict on it still, you have to wear mask while boarding bus, train etc.

@RebeccasFarm I am very particular on wearing a mask while going out. I don't want to risk myself. Moreover, it can protect us from dust.

Yes, mask is mandatory and sanitizer too. Social distancing is also suggested but I am not sure how children follow these in school. My son told me they are not allowed to go out from class as a precaution.

I am not sure why all state governments given strict instructions to open the school, even though the threat is there. Some schools are giving option of hybrid but soon there will be a ban on online classes. May be another wave can only make them understand virus is still there...

@Sreekala Yes, if the government there has started to open public places, such as schools and campuses, it means that there is already starting to be safe from covid. hope so.
