Cure or kill ?

Yesterday, was terrible and not much better today, but a little. I started the prescriptions doctor gave me for my cold or what I feel like is the pneumonia coming back in the morning. A new inhaler, Symbicort for my breathing problems and antibiotic. Even though I ate a banana and toast first before I took them, one of them made me really nauseous. Stupid of me to start 2 new things at the same time. So suspecting the antibiotic, I decided not to take it today and see if that was it. I am allergic to so many antibiotics.
I also have started the darn itching all over my legs again. .I take so many medications these days, it's really hard to tell what might be going wrong.
Like they say, getting old is not easy for anyone.
I take 9 meds a day (some of those twice a day) and 4 just as needed when ever.
Some good news, my daughter got the car fixed 
no more worrying about that.
So how many medications do you have to take a day?

you are very lucky. My daughter keeps telling me I am lucky because her ex's grandma took 9 pills in the morning and 7 in the evening. besides her vitamins.
I take a vitamin too but didn't count that.

So far, one, with three to four pain pills as needed for pain. three over-the-counter, one scripted.

I'm glad she got the car fixed.
My doctor changed the diuretic I was taking. So far, so good.

I'm glad you only have to take that. I was under the impression you took a lot of pills because of all your allergies. I think I must be on a lot of diuretics because I have to pee a LOT 
and most of my meds say drink a lot of water with them.

@bunnybon7 Oh, no, a diuretic is the latest med added to what I take. I take three blood pressure meds, one med for my thyroid, two prescription meds for allergies and one over-the-counter med for allergies every day. (I take two of the blood pressure meds twice a day.) I also have epi-pens for emergency use for allergies.
Well, water helps flush toxins out of the body, too. And yes, the diuretic makes me pee a lot.

My goodness you are lucky. I wish I had taken better care of myself. Sounds like I'm one of the oldest on here. Most people are saying they only take 1 or 2 meds a day.

Just two. Calcimax which is calcium plus zinc plus magnesium plus Vitamin D3. And neurobion, which is a hotchpotch of Vitamin B an B complex. Sometimes acidity gets better of me, then I take Rabiwok. But it is rare. I also take aspirin ..once in a week or so because of my acidity issues.
Hope you feel better. Hugs. Dad's medications have come down. So he is in a better frame of mind today. I sure understand how tough it is to remember all those medications. Till the day before I was administering 14 to may parent. Hugs..take care.

good for you. You are such a good daughter. I often think medications are the cause of a lot of memory loss and brain fog.

Sorry you're not feeling well. I take 5 pills a day plus 4 as needed. I also take some supplements for various conditions. I also have 2 kinds of drops for my eyes.

Glad car is fixed
Something called SARNA fragrance free on Amazon will help that itch
I got it and it is the only thing that works
Has to be the fragrance free
