Some wonderful news I received

Friday night my sister sent me a photo and showed me the belated birthday presents she got from her boyfriend. He had to work so he wasn’t home for her birthday.
It was a crummy day for her on her actual birthday as her youngest child was sick with a fever so we couldn’t get together for cake and ice cream like my mother had planned.
So when her boyfriend was home Friday he gave her an absolutely gorgeous engagement ring and pretty flowers. That was the first time anyone has ever given her flowers so she was so happy. He put the ring on top of the flowers is what she told me.
He wants to wait about 3 years to have a wedding. I’m not sure why that is but I look forward to giving her a bridal shower when it’s time.
Photo is totally unrelated to the post. Just something I thought looked neat and I wanted to share a photo to spruce up the post.

I love those guitars too! Congrats to your sister on her engagement. I hope your niece/nephew is feeling better now. Maybe her fiance wants to wait that long to ensure that they know and are as comfortable with each other as all husbands and wives should be.

@Chellezhere I don’t get to come here much. My niece is all better and I was just at her 6th birthday party yesterday. They’ve been dating about 9 years not sure why he would want to wait 3 more

I believe The Horse would love all the guitars in the picture. Congrats to your daughter on her engagement. That is cool putting the ring on the flowers. Did she wonder why he wants to wait 3 years before they get married? I believe the engagement should make up for him not being there with her and her child being sick. I bet you want the child to get well soon so you can see the ring in person.
