Embarrassing situatin

Hello everyone. I hope you are all well. I wanted to tell you about very embarrassing situation that occurred to me two days ago. I was just coming from my break at work when I heard loud alarm noises. I thought is an alarm in the store and ignored it. Then I realized it was my phone and I turned it off. 10 min later two officers were standing next to my till and asked to talk to me. They took me to a room at the back of the store and asked if I was in any danger. I felt like an idiot and apologized for waisting their time. My colleagues thought I was attacked. What a day!

I know how you feel having to deal with a situation where your phone made a lot of noise which brought the police to ask you if you were in danger due to a false alarm .

I could see where that might be. At least you're alright and weren't in any real danger.
