What time do you go to sleep?

One of my goals for this year was to go to sleep earlier than I usually go but so far I have no progress on this goal, I have failed miserably I usually go to bed after midnight and I end up not sleeping the number of hours that I need to feel well. It is all my fault at night I end up staying in the sofa seeing series or in the internet and when I realize the time it's already late. I need to work on this point as I feel it is importante for me, especially now that school is about to start and I will need to wake up earlier. Any strategies to help me with this? What time do you go to sleep?

We both go to sleep between 10:30 and 11:00 p.m. I switch off my computer soon before we have dinner. We watch a movie and then we go to sleep.

I have the same problem sleeping. I’m reading a good book or working on poetry or mylotting. I get to bed about 12 and still can’t sleep. I take short naps if I sleep at all. I hope someone has good advice that works.

I am not the best example. I go to bed when I want. Set up a suitable windows persod and make sure to have all electronics off an hour before bed.

The only strategy I can think of is to log off the computer earlier and then try drinking some milk before bedtime, it has been helping me but that does not mean it will help everybody.

I really need to switch off my devices earlier, it is what distracts me more. Milk doesn't work for me as I don't like it. Thank you.

@nela13 Camomile tea may help you to become sleepy. And no thrilling TV programmes or books until late, of course!

I go to bed 9.30 or 10 pm. Avoid watching the TV and being online before going to bed as that stuffs your brain with things that are exciting your brain cells that disturbs sleep.

One strategy I use: Eat dinner early (like 4 or 5 pm). This is one reason the elderly infamously eat early. Another one, watch TV in bed. That way, you can just turn over & fall asleep the moment it dawns on you that you need to. (you might even use the timer (most TVs have) to turn it off in an hour or half-hour in case you fall asleep while you're watching)

Use the TV timer is a good idea. It is impossible for me to have dinner that earlier
