Hope those of you that were off work for Columbus Day enjoyed your day. And I hope all our Canadian friends had a wonderful Thanksgiving. It was quiet here; and not much got accomplished. How about you? I hope you enjoy the meme. I love that picture I took the long weekend off from the computer and got some fall cleaning started. Last night we had fried chicken cutlets with mashed potatoes and green beans.

@LindaOHio I wouldn't have been able to do it without my daughters helps. I miss the days when I could clean the house top to bottom in just one day.

@Marilynda1225 We have to have a housekeeper now. She comes twice a month and does all kinds of things for us aside from cleaning.

Nothing happened here except my eyes swelled up and I couldn't see to go get my driver's license renewed. I've still got four more days to renew it, though. I are a huge peach for breakfast, has barbecued chicken with green beans for lunch and had rolled oats and almond milk for supper. I hope you enjoy your day.

@LindaOHio Nothing seems to help and I'm tired of them trying... When I try to stop the shots, though, Pretty and the doctor fight me. The doctor, I'm sure, just wants to keep the money rolling in. I don't know why Pretty is fighting so hard for me to keep getting shots that aren't doing anything. You're welcome. Thanks.

I was one of those working on Columbus Day. In fact, I think the last time I ever had that day off was when I was in school. Wifey got back home last night, so I made baked chicken thighs and we had a salad on the side.

@LindaOHio She left with $700 and came back with $500. So, she was down a couple hundred bucks, which all said, isn't bad.

I'm on veggie diet today. Bought a plant-based meat sandwich from Starbucks for lunch. Had green and yellow bell peppers with black bean sauce for dinner.
