The sweet dates fruits

Here in Kenyan getting dates fruits is a nightmare, only rich people manage to get and eat them the rest we are left salivating.To get them you have to make an order and arrangement with shipping companies for imports. 1kg costing $5 ... Anyone to do me some favor and direct on how I can get dates fruits to quench my thirsty.

Yes, order them online like everyone else. 1kg for $5 is a good price. You would have to pay 3-4 times as much to purchase that amount in the USA.

@GoAskAlice you mean some commodities in USA are more expensive than kenya? paying 3-4 times higher than in Kenya it must be customer exploitation.

I am not sure whether they can do better in Kenya.sometimes our climate is limiting us from some agricultural activities.

In India it's very cheap. Since it's very expensive there, I think you have to import it. It's the same thing here with kiwis. They are very costly.

Sometimes our markets are not fair with us as customers,why should some commodities be cheaper at some places and very expressive in some other places?

I don't know how much a kg is; but it doesn't sound too expensive. I don't know what they cost here in the US though. We haven't bought dates in a long time.
