I he clingy or just normal for cats?

Every time I lay down, he lays down too.
When I stand up, he surely will.
Mao is my first cat. Yes, we have dogs and I don't know why suddenly I wanted to have a pet cat!
Well, I loved him though there were times we have this love-and-hate relationship due to his stubbornness, which I think is just normal.
And i think i have to stay here more to be able to have more budget on his food. LOL!
By the way, he always sits on my lap when I am working or play with the papers. Huhuhu
