My grown up still to me kid has made my day. And she has made my hubby's day.
Go daughter: she says she talked to her boss and for sure she will be able to get time off from her job in June. Daughter found that a train will get her from Tucson to us in a couple of days (and nights). She says she has always wanted to see the California coast and this would be her chance. So YES she will visit with us in June for three days. Plus the train stops right in our little town. We'll all say no to big bad Seattle's traffic and airport. We'll all say no to taxis and buses and motels. Nope and nope. We'll pick her up from the train station that is about a mile from our house in the evening and have dinner somewhere and head to the house. Sweet. Very sweet.

@DaddyEvil Back in the day it was too easy to get daughter upset and she'd fly off to be by herself for a while. She's gotten much nicer. Should be fun.
