I decided that the color of embroidery floss that I found in my mother's floss matched much better than the color of the floss I bought. I'm nearly done with the legs of the doll I'm working on, then I'll start on her dress. I'm glad that I'm getting to do this again. I sure hope that since I'm "winging it" without a pattern, that this turns out okay.

Had my cross-stitch activity when my kids are small. I was into this hobby even in my busiest days when I had my full-time job in the office and raising 3 daughters. I like this hobby so much that I still spend time on it I still want to repeat this old hobby again. it's stress-free and very much enjoyable.

It is stress free, until you make a glaring mistake and have to rip out a whole bunch of stitches.

You didn't chart it out on graph paper first?

@BarBaraPrz 1) I don't have any graph paper, and 2) the design was in my head.
