What is your motivation to be active in a forum?

As for me, I'm active in forums because I like to write, discuss, and exchange opinions with other people. Yes, besides that I can also get money, knowledge, and new friends from it.
I really didn't expect that I would be active in a forum/community like this, and then have many friends from various countries, it really feels really good. :)
Someone often tells me, that my presence is missed by them when I have been inactive for a long time, even though we have never met. You know, this kind of thing makes me feel that my presence is precious. LOL
How about you, what's your motivation to be active in a forum/comunity? :)

I enjoy talking with people and have fun interacting with people from different backgrounds.

I work from home and even back when I work onsite, I hardly chat with my officemates.
So being active here in myLot is like I'm chatting with friends.

How can you not chat with your office mates? If I was like that they would immediately call me arrogant, so I should keep chatting with them even for a while.

Same as you, valuable interaction, new friends, sharing of ideas, discovering new outlooks/opinions, and of course earning some cents in the process. The ingredients are all there on MyLot. This is also a friendly community where members encourage, help, and make each other hopeful and happy.

When I first joined here around 17 years ago I got addicted to this site. I could spend hours on Mylot, and it became like therapy. When my health was to poor to get out into society I could still communicate with the people here. Add to the bonus of making a small amount of money, and it's just an overall treat.
