We have had rain all day long today. I haven’t ventured outside today due to the weather. Yesterday was sunny but cold. While I was out walking I saw wild honeysuckles blooming along the nature trail. I got a good picture but I don’t know if it will submit. I hope all my Mylot friends had a beautiful sunny day.

It's a cloudy day here and weather is good. I am happy that it's not hot today. Let's see what happens when the sun shines .

@RubyHawk whereas I like moderate rain. I don't like Dry weather may be because in winters the temperature here doesn't fall much. I don't remember if we had temperature in the minus ever here.

@sjvg1976 We usually have hot summers and cold winters with spring and fall in between. It’s unusually cool this spring.

Wild honeysuckle is blooming at the back of our yard, too. We were supposed to have a cloudy but dry day according to the predictions but it rained off and on all day. *sigh*

You can’t really trust the weather forecast. Wild honeysuckles smell so good. I finally discovered how to cut down a picture. I hope I remember.

@RubyHawk The forecasts are bad for our area. The forecast is actually for a city almost 50 miles away from us. The photo looks good.

As a child my neighbor had honeysuckle growing along her fence, and I remember wishing that we did too. I just didn’t see it often.

I can see the beautiful flowers - honeysuckles. I wonder why they are called such. . It's only 11 am here and the temperature has reached 34 C already I fear what the early afternoon temperature would be. Have a wonderful warm day too.

Thank you. Maybe they’re called honeysuckles because they attract bees. It’s just after eleven pm here, about my bedtime. Have a nice afternoon.

I do love the honeysuckle smell and they are very pretty. But having lived out in the country a few times, I can say they are also very invasive! Blink, and they cover an entire fence or pole or climb a chimney!

They are invasive.Wild Honeysuckles will cover anything they can reach, but still not as bad as kudzu. Kudzu will kill anything in its path.

@RubyHawk Kudzu is beyond terrible. The standard joke being, don't park your car too close to it, because in the morning your car will be covered in Kudzu!
