I got mad A hateful telephone ring woke me up at early morning!

This early morning,an unexcepted telephone ring woke me up,my uncle did this to me.I picked up phone and talked with him on the phone,nothing important,he just required me persuade my cousin(his son) to get married as soon as possible.His son is 31years old this year,he was anxious about his son's marriage.After hang up the phone,i no longer can fall asleep.Unfortunately,today i need work overtime.at this moment,i feel i am not myself due to less sleep than usual,i am almost mad now.From now on,i swear i will set phone in mute mode before sleep,keep all disturbance away from my sleep.I am sick with a telephone call when i am sleeping.Did you meet such a disturbance?Will you set phone to mute mode before sleep?dear mylotters.

He is rushing to see his son get married,you are living HK,maybe don't know marring a wife is quite hard at our hometown countryside.He is anxious about son's marriage.But i can't help about this thing.

@Beestring ,the fact is like you said.just for my curiosity,i wonder if it is hard to marry a wife at HK?I mean whether a man need buy a house and car,plus a big money to marry a wife at HK?

@LadyDuck ,in my hometown,it's very common parents still take care of adult children,relying on parents is widespread in this country.there are not much adult children independent on parents,in terms of whether mind or finance.

He woke up early each day,then he can't restrian himself to call me.His son didn't follow his instrcution to date a girl.So he felt anxious,reach out to me for help.He hope his son get married as soon as possible.

That seems like a rude thing to interrupt your sleep for. My uncle (my late mom’s brother) once called my father in the middle of the night while my dad was sleeping, to ask for the number of the pizza place. My dad turned his phone ringer off after that.

when I sleep I usually turn my phone off so it doesn't disturb me, if there's anything important it will probably be visible when the phone is back on.

Yes I used to get these calls from family years ago when I was trying to sleep for work. I am sorry he woke you for something that also you have no control over..no wonder you are mad Mr Yang. That sucks. I hope you will sleep more tonight.

thanks for your kind words,i made up for lack of sleep next day,now i learnt a lesson,will keep phone mute before sleep hereafter.Sleeping is primary thing in our life.

I'm sorry that happened to you. Your uncle was rude to call when you were sleeping. Yes, I've had that happen before. I just look to see who is calling and then go back to sleep. I can always return their call when I wake up again.

@jefferson126 It used to happen all the time and I'd answer the phone when they woke me up... But I'm not always nice if someone wakes me up, so it was better not to answer and call them back later. Once, someone called me again when I didn't answer. I answered that time and was nasty, then blocked their number. No more problem. I'm glad you've worked out a way to make it work for you.
